Phd Program

Our PhD Program is open to applicants holding the equivalent of a German 'Diplom'
or a Master's degree (with written thesis) in physics, geophysical sciences
(incl. meteorology and oceanography), chemistry, ecology, mathematics,
computer science, engineering, economics, or political science. Also students
currently still working on their MSc thesis are encouraged to apply. The selection
procedure includes an interview of short-listed candidates.

 

Our Call for applications for the Year 2010 has now closed.

We will re-open our Call on 1 July 2010.

 

Doctoral positions will be available starting in March the following year (duration up to 3 years);
financial support will be offered in the form of a stipend or a doctoral contract.


PhD topics will be finalized upon admission.
